JI chief asks Nawaz to expose those sabotaging peace talks

PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq lamented what he said government’s one step forward, two step back approach to establish peace in the country through dialogue with the Taliban.

Speaking at a ceremony on Sunday, he urged the prime minister to stay firm to move forward the dialogue process and should disclose the names of the elements who wanted to sabotage talks.

The JI chief said that no economic agenda could be materialized without establishing peace. He said that the money that was being spent on war on terror be allocated for health and education sector.

Talking to Goe News, he said that Geo should accept the 15-day punishment and chalk out a future line of action in collaboration with the owners of other media houses.
