6-magnitude quake hits KPK, FATA
PESHAWAR: Earthquake tremors were felt in most of the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhaw and FATA, Geo News reported Saturday morning.
Seismological Centre said that an earthquake measuring 6.00 on Richter scale struck Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mardan, Hazara, Malakand Division, Khyber Agency, Mohhmand Agency, Bajur Agency and adjoining areas.
The epicenter of the quake was 264 kilometer away in Hindukush Region in Afghanistan at a depth of 50 kilometer.
The tremors created great panic among people, however no loss of life or property was reported so far.
