Operation Zarb-e-Azb not in settled areas yet : DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Operation Zarb-e-Azb has not started in settled areas as yet, according to the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army.
According to DG ISPR, Major General Asim Bajwa, terrorists present in the area have no where to escape as they are completely surrounded. The DG ISPR adds, that the innocent civilian population has already been evacuated from the areas.
Pakistan’s Armed forces launched a comprehensive military operation named ‘Zarb-e-Azb’ against the terrorists in North Waziristan on Sunday following a brazen terrorist attack on Pakistan’s largest airport the Jinnah International in Karachi.
