Justice Umar Ata Bandial takes oath as judge Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD: Newly appointed Justice Umar Ata Bandial took oath as judge of the Supreme Court here on Tuesday.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani administered oath to him in a ceremony held here on Tuesday.
The ceremony started with recitation from the Holy Quran. The ceremony was attended by Judges of the Supreme Court, Attorney General of Pakistan, President supreme court Bar Association Kamran Murtaza, former Vice-Chairman Pakistan Bar Council syed Qalab-e-Hassan, senior lawyers and law officers of the federation and provinces.
Syed Tahir Shahbaz Registrar Supreme Court conducted the proceedings of the oath taking ceremony. Senior officers of the Supreme Court also attended the ceremony.
