PM condemns firing on MNA
ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday strongly condemned attack on Member of National Assembly Tahira Asif who was injured in firing by unidentified persons in Lahore.
The prime minister prayed for the early recovery of Tahira Asif, a statement from the Prime Minister's Office said. In a separate statement, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid also condemned attack on MNA Tahira, and assured that the culprits involved in the attack would be brought to book.
In a statement, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) spokeswoman Shereen Mizari also condemned an attack on MNA Tahira Asif and demanded arrest of the culprits involved in the attack.
