Govt ready to share judicial inquiry report of Lahore killings with lawmakers

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanvir Hussain on Thursday said that the judicial inquiry report of the recent killings at Model Town in Lahore would be shared with the National Assembly and responsible be awarded exemplary punishment.
Responding to the Point of Order raised by Leader of Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah, he said that the involvement of hidden hands in the Lahore killings could not be ruled out. The minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N was struggling to complete the agenda of making Pakistan prosperous.
Recalling struggle for the restoration of democracy, he said that the Pakistan Muslim League-N and the Pakistan People’s Party had offered unmatched sacrifices for the restoration of democracy. He also said that the killings in Lahore have been condemned by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
