Funeral prayers of Tahira Asif held
LAHORE: Funeral prayers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s lawmaker Tahira Asif, who succumbed to her injuries Thursday night held here on Friday.
She was attacked by two unidentified gunmen in the Allama Iqbal Town police precincts on Wednesday and passed away during treatment at a local hospital, late Thursday night.
MQM Rabitta Committee members, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders attended the funeral.
