UAE extends full support to Pakistan against terrorists
Pakistan’s ambassador calls on UAE deputy prime minister

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Interior Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed his full support to the government of Pakistan in its action against extremists and terrorists in the tribal areas.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Pakistan’s Ambassador to UAE Asif Durrani who called on him at his office on Monday. Sheikh Saif termed Pakistan-UAE relations as very solid which were gaining strength with the passage of time. Ambassador Durrani appreciated the support extended by the UAE to Pakistan's action against extremists.
The ambassador also thanked the UAE leadership for extending assistance to the government of Pakistan in its campaign against polio. He also discussed with UAE deputy prime minister matters pertaining to consular issues between the two countries.
