IG hints at making headway in airport attack case
KARACHI: Sindh Inspector General of police, Iqbal Mahmood Friday promised good news about the Karachi airport attack case soon, Geo News reported.
He told this to media on the sidelines of the ceremony for distribution of certificates to police officers and personnel having completed training with the cooperation of Germany.
Responding to a question, Sindh IG Iqbal Mahmood said, “We have reached the accused persons involved in Karachi airport attack," but he could not give any further detail right.
He told that 200 instructors and 2,000 police officers were given professional training in the first phase.
Karachi CCPO, Ghulam Qadir Thebo, Additional IG (CID), Tahir Naveed and other police high officials also attended this ceremony.
