Imran Khan threatens to launch 'tsunami march' on Islamabad
BAHAWALPUR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan has said that his party will launch a march on Islamabad if the Nawaz Sharif government didn’t meet his demands within a month.
He said that he will launch a tsunami march on Islamabad on August 14 if the government failed in giving the answers of his questions relating to election rigging in the last year general election.
Khan asked the prime minister to allocate funds for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from the North Waziristan if he really wanted to help them.
He said that if the prime minister was so concerned about the IDPs why didn't he inform the PTI before the military offensive in the tribal belt.
Addressing a public gathering in Bahawalpur on Friday, the cricket star turned politician sought answers from the government regarding role of former Supreme Court chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry in the last year election and Nawaz Sharif's victory speech.
He said as to how PTI rallies could hamper government's development work. Khan criticized the government for the killing of innocent people in Model Town Lahore.
