Karachi Airport attack: PM announces govt jobs for victims’ heirs
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced that government jobs will be provided to heirs of the victims of the Karachi Airport attack.
Addressing a ceremony here on Friday, Prime Minister Sharif said the sacrifices of martyrs will not go to waste. “The Airport Security Force (ASF) is being upgraded in order to deal with future challenges,” Prime Minister Sharif said.
At least 29 people including 22 ASF personnel were killed when ten Pakistan Taliban insurgents stormed the country’s busiest airport on June 08. Security forces launched a joint operation at the airport in which all ten terrorists were killed.
