MQM to stage historic rally to express solidarity with army: Altaf
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has announced that a historic rally would be held to express solidarity with the armed forces.
Addressing members of the Rabita Committee he said that the Pakistan Army was battling one of the toughest wars where its soldiers and officers were rendering sacrifices.
He paid tribute to the fallen soldiers and officers of the army and directed MQM workers to make arrangements for the rally in support of the military.
Hussain also appealed to the citizens of Karachi, religious scholars, traders, industrialists, shopkeepers and students to take some time out of their routine activities to express solidarity with the army.
He said that time and venue of the MQM rally would soon be announced.
