Ruet-e-Hilal body to meet on Saturday

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan – A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee would be held in Karachi on Saturday (Sha'ban-ul-Moazzam 29) for sighting the crescent of Ramzan-ul-Mubarak 1435AH.
The meeting – to be chaired by its Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman – would be held in the building of the Pakistan Meteorological Department camp office in Karachi. The meeting of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committee of the Islamabad Capital Territory would be held in the building of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The meeting of zonal committees would also be held at various places in their respective areas on Saturday. All the evidence regarding the position of crescent could be conveyed to the Central Ruet e Hilal Committee at Karachi on its telephone numbers. The committee chairman would announce the decision of the crescent sighting or otherwise subsequently on the basis of information received after evaluating the evidences.
