Fazl claims police protected PTI hooligans in ‘robbing KP LG polls’
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Monday claimed that police, under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s influence, protected the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hooligans as they robbed the local bodies elections in the province.
Speaking to media representatives here, he said that under complete police shelter, people belonging to the ruling party took ballot boxes with them from several polling stations in Saturday’s elections.
The JU-F chief further claimed that the polling staff also remained under the provincial government’s influence throughout the province on the polling day.
