Deeply saddened by the loss of lives during KP LG polls: PM Nawaz
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Thursday expressed deep sorrow on the deaths of 18 people during the Khyber Pakhtunkwa Local Body polls.
Speaking to the media after the address of President Mamnoon Hussain to the Joint session of Parliament today, PM Nawaz questioned that is this Naya Pakistan.
He went on to say that those people who have been alleging that the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was involved in rigging of the General Elections 2013, those same people now have to witness such days with their provincial government.
He further said that such incidences have never occurred in the history of elections.
