Fazl asks Imran to resign over ‘wrost rigging’ in KP LG polls
ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said on Thursday if Imran Khan had some honour, he should resign over the “worst rigging” in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s local bodies elections.
Speaking exclusively to Geo New, he said the PTI chairman should tender his resignation because he himself had been making similar demands from federal government over poll rigging.
The JUI-F chief, who was attending the inauguration ceremony of Metro Bus project, further said he too wanted the same project for Peshawar but the provincial government was incompetent to take such an initiative.
Replying a question regarding Imran Khan’s offer of re-election in the province, Fazlur Rehman said the PTI chief could not be allowed to rob the local government election again.
