FIA registers another FIR against Axact CEO, 19 others
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Sunday registered another FIR against Axact Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Shoaib Shaikh, his wife Ayesha Shaikh, and Vice Chairman Viqas Atiq.
The charges which have also been filed against 17 others, include fraud, fake identification, and money laundering.
A total of 17 Directors, Managers and Operators from Axact’s Islamabad Region have been arrested today.
The 17 arrested from the Axact’s Islamabad Region will be presented in a local court in Islamabad within 24 hours.
According to sources, the Axact CEO will be handed over to FIA Islamabad once his remand with FIA Karachi is over.
