APP
ISLAMABAD – Minister of State for Information Technology Anusha Rehman on Monday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan should seek apology from the public over not materialising his allegations of systematic rigging in the 2013 general election before the inquiry commission.
Talking to journalists outside the Supreme Court here, she alleged that Imran casted allegations of “35 punctures” dozens of times in public meetings, talk shows and interviews, but on the contrary he could not prove them before the commission. She maintained that it was informed in the inquiry commission that security deposit of 55 National Assembly candidates of PTI was forfeited after the general election which showed their credibility.
She termed the Local Bodies (LB) election in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as the most crooked and bloodiest during which two dozen people lost their precious lives. Anusha was of the view that PTI had to face same allegations in LB election in KPK which it had been baselessly leveling in 2013 general elections.
Muhammad Zubair, Chairman Privatization Commission of Pakistan also said that PTI had failed in proving its allegations of systematic rigging before the commission. He termed the PTI's allegations based upon perception which could not be proved with facts and evidences.
