Pakistan frontline state in war on terror: Yousuf Raza Gilani
MULTAN: Former prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said Pakistan is fighting as the frontline state against terrorism and extremism.
Talking to newsmen after visiting 'Dargah Hazrat Musa Pak' with US ambassador to Pakistan Richard Olson, he said Pakistan's fight against terrorism and extremism is proving fruitful for the entire world.
He said US ambassador's visit to Multan holds significance.
Gilani termed ties between Pakistan and US as important, adding, the relationship should be based on mutual respect and interest.
