India trying to sabotage Pakistan's efforts for regional peace: Fazl

ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Friday deplored India's malicious designs to hamper Pakistan's efforts for peace and prosperity in the regional.
Speaking in the National Assembly during budget debate, he said that India for war mongering and threatening existence of small countries in South Asian regions. “Indian government and leadership are perturbed since the China announced to invest US$ 47 billion in Pakistan and are fanning hatred to sabotage efforts for Pakistan's prosperity,” Fazl added.
“We should take seriously the Indian aggressive attitude and statement of Indian prime minister in Bangladesh regarding destabilizing Pakistan by supporting separation movement in East Pakistan in 1971,” he said. He said that the insulting attitude of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards Pakistan, his open insertion about India's involvement in 1971 fiasco and getting award for this service is condemnable.
He said with the statement of Indian prime minister it has now become ample clear that Indian is involved in terrorism within Pakistan as well as in Kashmir by violating the UN Resolution to give right to self-determination to Kashmiri people. He advised the Pakistan government to opt for a cautious response to Indian aggressive attitude because Pakistan has always advocating peace in the region.
“Our religion Islam also preaches peace and brotherhood, therefore, we should carefully deal with this conspiracy of Indian government and political leadership,” Fazl said. He demanded to end continued occupation of Kashmir by India and hold a plebiscite in Indian-held Jammu Kashmir to give Kashmiri people a right to decide about their future.
