Pakistan releases 113 Indian fishermen as goodwill gesture

KARACHI - Pakistani authorities have released as many as 113 Indian fishermen as a goodwill gesture on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The fishermen were released from Malir Jail on Thursday. These prisoners would be shifted to railway station using a bus provided by Edhi Foundation. After reaching Lahore, they would be handed over to the Indian authorities at Wagah Border.
Pakistan and India regularly release fishermen who are detained after straying into each other`s territorial waters.
