SHC rejects plea seeking Axact CEO’S transfer to Islamabad

KARACHI – Sindh High Court (SHC) on Friday rejected a petition seeking transfer of Axact CEO Shoaib Sheikh to Islamabad.

Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to contact the trial court as the case against the software company and its owner is being heard there. FIA had filed a petition in one of Karachi’s local courts seeking transfer of the cases against Sheikh to Islamabad.

The court has ordered to not shift Sheikh to the federal capital without listening to his counsel. It should be noted that fake degree cases against Axact have also been filed in Islamabad and the federal investigation body wants to shift Sheikh to Islamabad for further investigation.
