Imran alleges federal govt of backing 'electricity thieves'
INP

ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday declared the unscheduled power outages in the country as ‘deplorable’, and alleged the federal government of supporting electricity thieves instead of nabbing them.

In a statement issued from Islamabad, Imran Khan strongly condemned the ongoing power outage across the country in Ramadan and stated that the leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) “does not feel the pain of the nation”.

The PTI chief said that the continuous electricity cut was a brutal act of the government and demanded early detention of the culprits. He further said that the government should ensure uninterrupted power supply during the month of fasting.
