Govt can’t be blamed for deaths caused by heat: Abid Sher Ali
ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali Tuesday said that the government cannot be held responsible for a death caused by heat and suffocation.
Abid Sher Ali expressed these views while talking to media persons here.
The Minister of State asked one of the reporters that if you return from here get killed at the hands of intense heat would put its blame on me for your death?
More than six hundred people have died across Pakistan as a result of heat-stroke and other health problems caused by the extreme hot weather.
The duration of loadshedding has also spiked, coinciding with the beginning of the holy month of Ramazan.
