President meets Saudi crown prince

JEDDAH: President Mamnoon Hussain has said that Pakistan’s relations with Saudi Arabia are of vital importance and long-lasting.
He made these remarks while talking to Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad bin Naif at a banquet in Jeddah on Wednesday night. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, regional situation and bilateral relations came under discussion. The president also felicitated the crown prince of Ramazan. Earlier, he offered Traveeh in Haram Sharif and prayed for progress and solidarity of Pakistan and well-being of Pakistanis. On return from Madinah Munawwarah he also performed another umrah.
In Makkah Mukarramah, he also met a delegation of overseas Pakistanis from Makkah, Taif and Jeddah who discussed various matters concerning education facilities for overseas Pakistanis, investment opportunities and role of Pakistanis in development of Saudi Arabia. They appreciated the various developmental projects initiated by present government in Pakistan and hoped that initiative of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will have far-reaching impact on the life of common man in the years to come.
