Pakistan condemns Kuwait mosque attack
ISLAMABAD – Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned a deadly terrorist attack at a mosque in Kuwait city during Friday prayers, which resulted in the loss of 27 lives, an official statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
“The the government of Pakistan and the people convey their heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to the bereaved families and pray for speedy recovery of the injured”. The statement further said that Pakistan shares the grief of the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait over this cowardly attack against innocent civilians praying at a mosque during the Holy month of Ramzan.
“Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations,” the foreign office said.
