Internet services affected in Pakistan
Karachi - The Internet users have been facing relatively slow Internet speed for couple of days in Pakistan. It has been revealed that it is due to the fault in SEAMEWE4, which is one of the main submarine cables that connect Pakistan with the rest of the Internet world.
The problem is physical in nature and will take atleast 15 days to restore SEAMEWE4 cable. The location of the fault has been identified but it is taking more than the estimated time to restore the system.
According to local media reports, PTCL official confirmed the problem and told that after this fault, bandwidth is being shifted to others cables to fulfill the demand in country. According to details, bandwidth will relay on back-up cables and fault will take couple of weeks to get fully fixed.
Till then Internet users might face slow internet speed, sluggish download and uploads.
