Foreign investment has increased in country: Sartaj
INPISLAMABAD – Adviser to Prime Minister on National Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Monday said foreign investment had increased in the country due to bold decision of the government to eliminate terrorism.
Addressing a seminar here in the federal capital, he said the government took steps against terrorism to strengthen economy and attract foreign investment.
He pointed out that a strong economy was a pre-requisite to deal with issues like terrorism. He said alleviation of poverty and unemployment would help address the issues of extremism and terrorism.
He expressed the confidence that the effective policies adopted by the government would help achieve five to six per cent growth rate, and urged the need for using latest technology for improving governance.
