PM to celebrate Eid in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in Saudi Arabia.
The premier is also scheduled to visit Norway and Russia next month.
According to sources, Nawaz Sharif along with his family would spend the last days of Ramazan in the two holiest places for Muslims in Saudi Arabia.
The prime minister would perform Umrah and spend the last days of Ramazan in Majid-e-Nabvi and would celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in Madina.
Nawaz Sharif would be scheduled return home on the second day of Eid, sources said, adding that although this is a pilgrim visit, however, the prime minister would also have a meeting with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the custodian of the two holy mosques.
Pakistan would attend two international summits early next month.
One would be held in Norwegian capital Oslo and it would discuss development of education to be sponsored by the Gordon Brown Foundation.
The other would be the prestigious regional Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and it would take place in Russian city Ufa where Pakistan and India would get membership of the organisation.
Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to attend both the summits and where Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present.
Noble laureate Malala Yousafzai would also attend the Oslo summit where she would meet the prime minister.
