Indian interference issue: Lodhi arrives in Islamabad
INP

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan permanent envoy to United Nations (UN) Maleeha Lodhi arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday to hold consultations with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the Foreign Ministry officials a day after the government decided to raise voice against Indian actions intended to undermine Pakistan’s security in UN.

In a meeting held at the Foreign Ministry office on Monday, the authorities decided to raise the issue of India’s anti-Pakistan actions in United Nations. The meeting also discussed the BBC report on the MQM’s funding from India and the statements given by the MQM leaders to London police. Allegations of MQM’ funding from Indian intelligence agency RAW have recently surfaced in a BBC report.

MQM leader Tariq Mir had confessed that his party workers received financial assistance and training from India to create anarchy in Pakistan. Sources said that evidence of Indian involvement in the terrorist activities taking place in Balochistan will also be raised.
