Rangers lodge FIR against MQM's Media Cell in-charge
KARACHI: An FIR was registered against MQM's Media Cell in-charge for spreading propaganda against the paramilitary force on Wednesday.
According to details, the FIR was registered under the supervision of a Rangers officer. According to the petition filed by the Rangers officer at the Azizabad police station, MQM's Media Cell in-charge Aminul Haque was spreading propaganda against Rangers on social media, print media and electronic media. The petition also stated that this act of the MQM member's was demoralizing the force and also hampering operational activities.
The petition also stated that during the recent past, an anthem spread by Aminul Haque on social media targeted Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, DG ISI, Corps Commander Karachi and DG Rangers. It was pointed out in the petition that the anthem contained the words "The enemy who made us cry, we will make them cry now."
An FIR has been registered against Aminul Haque in light of the petition. The area's SHO refrained from commenting on the issue.
