General Raheel visits Rangers HQ in Karachi
KARACHI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited the Rangers headquarters in Karachi on Sunday to take into stock the law and order situation of the city.
During his visit, the army chief hailed the sacrifices of the Rangers personnel for the Karachi operation and said that the people of Karachi viewed them with respect due to their efforts.
"He reiterated that across the board operation focuses on the entire network of terrorists, their abettors and financiers, and will continue till we achieve our objective of peace and restore normalcy in all parts of Karachi. Every assistance including intelligence and material combat support will be provided to the Rangers to accomplish their mission," read a statement from the ISPR.
With regard to the recent events in Karachi, the army chief directed all commanders to do their utmost in apprehending the criminals and bring them to justice for their nefarious activities.
