Nawaz directs authorities to ensure safety of citizens during monsoon season
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and all related provincial governments to take precautionary measures while keeping the ongoing monsoon spell in view.
The premier instructed that ample emergency preparatory measures should be made sure of to counter any potential damage or developing scenarios.
Nawaz also asked the related authorities to keep the people living in risky areas and river belts about conditions and possible evacuation procedures if required.
