Lesco acquits PML-N leaders of power theft charges


LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) completed the investigations regarding power stealth in a public rally of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and acquitted them of the charges of power theft, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to Lesco’s General Manger Operation Rana Muhammed Ajmal, the TMO confessed of his own accord the responsibility of the theft; accordingly, he has been fined Rs3000.

Also, the line superintendent has been suspended.

According to Rana Muhammed Ajmal, no consumer was directly involved in the power theft.
