‘US will have to sign nuclear deal with Pakistan’

LAHORE: Pakistan has complete command and control over its nuclear weapons and the US will have to sign a nuclear pact with the country, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US, Hussain Haqqani said while talking to Shahzeb Khanzada in his programme Newsline Plus on Monday.
President Obama has said that the US has no intentions of depriving Pakistan of its nuclear assets, he said. Talking to Khanzada, Haqqani said that he had met with Dr Aafia several times in the US and demanded her release, but the US government has its own limitations.
Her statement has made it hard to gain freedom for her but the government of Pakistan will continue to struggle for it, he said.
