Return of IDPs to start soon: Pak Army


DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Pak Army Logistic In-charge Brigadier Umar Farooq has said that IDPs from South Waziristan will soon start returning to their homeland. Brig. Umar was talking to Geo News.

He told the correspondent that at least 0.3 million displaced are still living here in the Dera Ismail Khan camp.

Electricity from Jandola to Sararogha has been restored and Frontier Works Organization has constructed fifty-five kilometer road, he added.

Affected families upon their return will also be provided Rs thirty thousand and two months ration and FC will be deployed after restoring peace in the affected areas.
