Pakistan is our true homeland: Sikh leaders
MINGORA: Pakistan is the only homeland of the Sikh community here and the whole community would be ever-ready to sacrifice their lives for it, Baba Guru Nanak Welfare Foundation Divisional President Dr Soran Singh, General Secretary Sanat Singh and District Minorities Chairman Balak Ram said on Saturday. Addressing the members of the Prabandhak Committe and the Sikh Panchayat at the Mingora Gurdwara, they said the Pakistan Army had fully helped the Sikh community during the crisis in Swat and also provided them with relief packages from time to time. They said the Sikhs had also abandoned their homes like other people during the operation in Swat, but the army had helped them just like the other communities. ghulam farooq
