SC orders EC not to announce NA-123 final results
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court (SC) dismissed the plea for the stay order against by-elections on NA-123 of Lahore, Geo News reported Tuesday.However, the apex court ordered the Election Commission to hold back the final results of elections and not formally announce them.
A three-strong SC bench headed by Justice Javed Iqbal heard the case.
Ilyas Gujjar, a candidate from NA-123, filed in the apex court a plea rejected by the High Court against issuance of new election schedule.
