Lahore blast toll rises to 14; probe continues
LAHORE: No headway could be achieved thus far in the investigations regarding the suicide attack in Lahore area of Model Town yesterday, Geo News reported Tuesday.
The death tally in the tragedy mounted to 14, as another body was retrieved from under the rubble of a secret agency’s building. Also the 50 percent debris of the building has been removed.
It should be mentioned that the investigative agencies arrested at least a dozen people with the joint investigative team probing into the incident on different lines.
The blast site was sealed with screens erected around it.
Inspector General of the Punjab Police, Tariq Saleem Dogar said the body parts of the suicide attackers have been sent for the DNA test.
Also, the parts of the vehicle used in the blast, have been sent to the laboratory.
