Islam disallows humiliation of corpses: Muneeb
LAHORE: The people have a right to punish criminals to set an example for others but Islam cannot give anybody the authority to humiliate corpses, Mufti Muneebur Rehman told a private TV channel on Tuesday. He said that the decision to reveal corpses of criminals rests only with the government and the court. Professor Sajid Mir said that if actions like this help in decreasing people’s fear of dacoits then the police’s actions were justified. daily times monitor.
