Pistol recovered from man on Karachi-bound flight
LAHORE: Airport Security Force (ASF) apprehended a passenger aboard a Karachi-bound flight from Lahore and recovered from his luggage a pistol hidden in two separate bags in different parts, Geo News reported Sunday.According to details, 50-year Mehmoodul Hasan, resident of Nazimabad area of Karachi, was on board PK-315 from Lahore to Karachi with a pistol hidden in two handbags in six different parts, which the ASF recovered during search.
In the preliminary interrogations, the accused Mehmood could not present the license of the recovered pistol nor could account for the possession of the pistol.
The ASF handed the accused to police along with his pistol.
