Fresh terror alert for Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar
ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry on Monday issued an alert for Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar, saying the government offices could be targeted in these cities by the terrorists.According to a circular issued by the Interior Ministry to Home Departments of Punjab and NWFP, the terrorists had planned to carry out attacks on government offices.
The ministry also directed the home departments to beef up security at key installations.
