Kidnapped British boy recovered


JHELUM: Pakistani-origin British child Sahil Saeed who was kidnapped from his family house in Jhelum was found in Danga town of Punjab, police sources said.

"He is recovered and safe," said Raja Basharat, grandfather of the child. British High Commission has confirmed the recovery of the child. The child has been handed over to Jhelum town administration.

In an exclusive chat with Geo News, child’s grandfather Raja Basharat said abductors left the child near a school in Danga village in Kharian and currently he is in custody of Jhelum administration. Sahil was abducted on March 3 from his grandmother's house in Jhelum during a robbery.

Raja Basharat said no ransom has been paid for the release of the child. On the other hand, British High Commission has thanked police and administration for their role in bringing about the safe return of Sahil.
