Key round of Pak-US strategic dialogue on Mar 24

WASHINGTON: A significant round of Pak-US strategic dialogue will be held in Washington on March 24, in which war against terrorism, bilateral ties and US assistance in the fields of development and energy will come under discussion.

Apart from some most important issues, two countries will discuss ways and means to pull Pakistan out of ongoing energy crisis.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will represent Pakistan in the talks. Federal Water and Power Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf will also accompany the visiting delegation.

Sources privy to water and power ministry told Geo that Pakistan would also include those projects in the talks, that were agreed and assured by the United States during Hilary Clinton’s visit to Islamabad.
