Water level down to dead level in Tarbela, Mangla
LAHORE: The power shortfall has gone up by 4000 MW, causing eight to 12 hours of power cuts across the country.
The water and power ministry said that country’s power demand stands at 12000 MW as compared to total production, which remains 8200 MW.
The water level in Tarbela, Mangla has dropped to dead level, says a report by Indus River System Authority.
It says that water flow at Nowshehra was recorded 15, 000 cusecs while it remained 10, 000 cusecs at Marala.
