Govt to convene APC after president’s address: Babar

ISLAMABAD: An All Parties Conference (APC) will be convened after President Asif Ali Zardari ‘s address to the parliament to chalk out a strategy to confront the challenges faced by the country, Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Babar Awan, said on Friday. Talking to a private news channel, the minister said that a record legislation had been done during the last three years and for the first time, the government had accepted the budget proposals presented by the opposition. He added that the 10-point agenda of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had been adopted as part of the government’s economic policy. app
