Examinations in Peshawar Universities postponed
PESHAWAR: The examinations at four universities of Peshawar have been cancelled and the new dates would be announced on March 24, Geo News reported Saturday.The decision was made in a meeting of Universities Coordination Committee with Peshawar University Vice Chancellor Dr Azmat Hayat in the chair.
The officials of Engineering University, Agriculture University and Islamia College University attended the meeting.
The meeting mulled over the tense situation spawned by the killing of a student at the University campus and the future strategy.
The meeting also decided to make effective the management of the hostels and a Hostel Provost Committee has been constituted to make recommendations for the purpose. It also decided to announce the new dates on March 24.
