Zardari summons party’s NWFP leader
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned party’s parliamentary leader in NWFP, Abdul Akbar Khan, at the presidency to review the demands and complaints being registered by the ministers and members of assembly belonging to PPP.Sources close to the presidency said that President Asif Zardari took notice of the complaints and called Khan to the Aiwan-e-Sadr.
The president will get a detailed briefing by Abdul Akbar Khan on all issues.
It may be reminded here that PPP ministers and other members had threatened to submit their resignation. They had also made a demand to meet the president.
