Rasheed challenges Elahi to face in polls
LAHORE: A leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N), also a Senator Chaudhry Pervez Rasheed Friday challenged PML-Q’s Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to contest in election against him, Geo news reported.Later, he told media Pervez Elahi has not replied to my challenge.
In a statement released from Lahore, Senator said he was ready to face Elahi in any constituency including Gujrat.
It is evident from the results of Gujrat by-polls that Elahi’s allegations were baseless as N-League’s contender won Gujrat by-polls while media’s live coverage proved that there was no rigging at all.
