Karachi, Hyderabad nazims to be from PPP: Qaim
HYDERABAD: Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah Saturday said the nazims for Karachi and Hyderabad in the new local bodies set up will be from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Addressing a press conference at Hyderabad Circuit House, the Chief Minister said MQM and PPP enjoy cordial relations and it is the desire of the leadership of both the parties that there should a seat adjustment to avoid tug-of-war like situation in Sindh and to accommodate each other.
He said the new local bodies set up will not be created on the basis of majority but it will be founded with consultations of the coalition parties for the resolution of the people’s problems.
